- Make a paste of mint leaves, apply over blemished skin and leave overnight. This will help clear blemishes when done regularly.

- Apply carrot juice everyday for about two weeks, this reduces blemishes.
- Grind together a teaspoon of poppy – seeds, almonds and rice , mix it with honey and yoghurt, apply all over face , let it dry and wash after 15 minutes , this is great for blemished skin.
- Mix a teaspoon of oat meal with lemon juice and tomato juice, apply to blemished skin, let it dry for about 10 – 15 minutes and wash away with some lukewarm water.
- Applying castor oil before going to bed lessens skin blemishes; Vitamin E Oil can also be applied.
- Regular application of lemon juice over blemished skin sure gives results.
- If your skin is oily, chances of you getting acne and blemishes is more as the pores on your skin are large and attract dirt and grime easily, so cleanse your face at least thrice a day to keep it clean and fresh.
- Proper exfoliation can lessen pigmentation to a certain extent. Use a scrub at least twice a week that suits your skin type.
- Black heads and white heads can also cause blemishes when not removed the right way , make sure you get rid of the entire black head , leaving a residue in the skin can leave marks.
- Avoid using make-up on blemished skin as much as possible; this can only aggravate your skin condition.
