Eye Care Tips
Your eyes are the most expressive and talk a lot about the person that you are. It’s therefore important that you take good care of them and look after them well. Using the right eye make-up, keeping them well moisturized, maintaining well shaped beautiful eyebrows all contribute to having a great pair of eyes. You could get a little adventurous by putting on fake eyelashes once in a while and flutter them with some mischief and pride.
Eye Make-up
Your eye make-up needs to be coordinated with what you wear, basically the look you are comfortable carrying off with élan. Just an eye liner and mascara would be enough at times than wearing an eye shadow. However brown and beige eye shadows will be suitable during the day and you could spruce up the eyes with some glitter and shimmer for an evening date or dinner. Make sure you remove the eye make-up before going to bed. Mascara and eye liner also emphasize the eyes and their shape.
Eye Moisturizer
Skin around the eyes is drier than the rest of the face and needs to be well moisturized to keep them looking soft and supple, to avoid getting wrinkles and crow’s feet. Applying an eye cream before going to bed or some Vaseline is great for the eye area. Puffy eyes, dark circles can be controlled with good amounts of eye moisturizer.
Eyebrows
Well shaped beautiful eyebrows enhance your eyes; tweezing, threading or waxing techniques can be chosen to shape up your eyebrows. A professional waxing kit comes with a jar of wax, a spatula and removal strips, warming up the wax, applying below the eyebrow and gently pulling up the excess hair with the removal strip is a quicker way of shaping them than threading and tweezing. However if your skin is too sensitive, opt for tweezing or threading. Having an arch makes your eyes look sharper and defined, if you have close set eyes , start shaping the eyebrows a little wider or if your eyes are wider , keep the eyebrows a little closer to each other.
Fake Eyelashes
Fake eyelashes can add a lot of interest and drama to your eyes if they are plain or if you just want to try a different look, you could either use individual lashes to fill in sparse spaces of the lashes or could use full lashes to make the eyes look much fuller and thicker. Choose lash colors that suit your skin tone, browns and blacks are the commonly used lash colors.
